Mr. Sutton has over 29 years of management, and system and software engineering experience performing all facets of engineering support services. Mr. Sutton has extensive experience in all levels of development and technical management of FFP, CPFF, and T&M contracts in support of many DoD and Federal agencies. Mr. Sutton also has a proven background in performing system software engineering & development, T&E, IV&V and QA in support of NAVSEA, NSWCDD, SPAWAR, Army INSCOM, USDA and SSA.

Prior to founding ARES, Mr. Sutton was the founder and President of several professional computer engineering companies and has successfully taken his former company from start-up through the acquisition process. Mr. Sutton’s former company (Analytical Solutions, Inc.), won the USDA ARS Small Business Contractor of the Year Award in 2004 and 2005, and won the USDA Small Business National Award in 2008.

Mr. Sutton has also been recognized and published several times in the National Who’s Who Registry for American Business Leaders, and has been recognized on numerous occasions by multiple DoD and Federal Agencies for his outstanding support services.

 

monteMonte D. Newton

Vice President, Marketing & Business Development

Mr. Newton is a Senior Executive with over 18 years of experience, which is highlighted by accomplishments in information technology (IT), program management and wireless/data consulting services.

Prior to joining ARES Solutions, Mr. Newton was Vice President for BTS Partners, a consulting firm specializing in wireless and data technology.  He also served as the Western Hemisphere Program Manager for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).  While working for the DEA, Mr. Newton received the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in Information Technology.   He graduated from Mary Washington College with a B.S. in Business Administration and post graduate course work at The George Washington University and the University of Alabama, Manderson Graduate School of Business.
